Create Your Floating Ceiling
You’ll start by recreating the magic of the Great Hall. Inside your kit, you’ll find:

12 Floating Candles (wand-controlled)
8 Floating Witch Hats
How to Hang the Floating Candles
String Them Up
Cut fishing line or clear thread to the length you’d like.
Tie one end to the candle’s hook and the other to a removable ceiling hook or tape.
Mix It Up
Vary the heights to give that floating-in-the-air look.
Bring on the Magic
Turn them on with your wand and watch the room glow.
How to Hang the Floating Witch Hats
Prepare the Hats
Tie fishing line to the tip of each hat, long enough to hover just above head level.
Hang & Scatter
Use ceiling hooks or tape, spacing them around the room.
Angle a few for a playful, “caught in the air” look.
Bonus: Add a battery tea light inside each hat for extra enchantment.
Over the Top: A Stormy Sky
Want to take it one step further? Transform your ceiling into a thunderstorm! Grab just four materials to make a magical stormy sky!

Cardboard or foam posterboard
Polyfill
Spray adhesive
LED light strips with remote control access
Build the Stormy Sky
Make the Base – Layout the posterboard or cardboard to the size of your desired sky; cut to shape as desired
Add Lightning – Adhere LED string lights in a randomized pattern, flashing white and blue for lightning effects.
Build the Clouds - Spray the surface with adhesive (a small area at a time) and stretch pillow stuffing (polyfill) across the entire surface, fluff and adjust for varying thickness and heights to mirror a true cloud. Take caution not to make this too heavy to apply to the ceiling!
NOTE: You may prefer to mount the base prior to this step and apply the polyfill once the board and lights on are on the ceiling. If you prefer this method, be sure to protect your face (especially you eyes) when spraying the adhesive glue.
Mount the Sky - Using pins, tape (if mounting before adding the clouds), command strips or whatever strong support you're comfortable adding to your ceiling, secure the boards/clouds directly to the ceiling in your desired area.
Set the Scene – Dim the lights and play a thunder soundtrack. Hogwarts is now officially in session.
Set the Table Like a Hogwarts Feast
The floating ceiling sets the mood, but the real magic happens at the table. Your kit includes:
3 Gold Quidditch Hoops (perfect as a whimsical centerpiece)
Gold Candlestick Holders + Taper Candles
Cheesecloth Table Runner
Letter Cards + House Crests (for scattering along the runner)
How to Style Your Table

Start with the Runner – Lay the cheesecloth runner down the center of your table.
Add Height – Place the quidditch hoops evenly spaced along the middle. Nestle the candlesticks between them or on either side.
Scatter the Details – Sprinkle letter cards and house crests along the runner to complete the look.
Layer It Up - Use the gold placemats, large dinner plates and smaller dessert plates to layer in your Hogwarts house place settings. Add the napkins and gold cups and cutlery for the extra touch of elegance.
The result: a warm, magical centerpiece that feels like it came straight out of the Great Hall.
